Factor 2 Plus Womens Mid Layer Leggings are perfect for activities in low and extreme cold temperatures where extra insulation is needed, or if the legs are idle for long periods of time.

Based on Sub Zeros award winning mid layer fabric, the Factor 2 Plus has more yarn used in it's manufacture, producing a thicker single sided micro fleece layer that traps more hot air from the body, making it 20% warmer than its predecessor. It still has a hydrophilic treatment added to it during the finishing process to aide moisture control and decrease drying times, and the inclusion of the same amount of Spandex provides extra stretch, allowing these mid layers to contour to your bodies shape without being restrictive, either when worn next to the skin, or over the top of base layers.

The panel design of these leggings, in combination with the fabrics stretch, provides a  tailored fit to most lower body shapes. Special attention has been paid to the location of the hip sections on the womens version, allowing them to sculpt to the female form. The high rise back helps to prevent lower back exposure during activities as well as providing extra kidney protection, whilst the low profile covered elasticated waist band reduces midriff bulk when combined with other Sub Zero base layers.  To prevent rubbing and bulking out at the ankles, the leg cuffs are finished with a low profile seam.

These Sub Zero mid layer leggings are suitable for all cold weather winter activities including mountaineering, polar expeditions, skiing and canoeing, but are also at home all year round underneath motorbike leathers.
