Care Plus Water Filter allows you to drink safely from any water source. The 0.1 micron membrane traps harmful bacteria, protozoa, fine particulates and other impurities. Basically it produces water as if it came from your own tap.
Just one lightweight filter should be capable of purifying 375,000 litres of water at a rate of 1.7 litres a minute. If after prolonged use the flow rate starts to reduce, it is easily remedied by simply back washing the filter.
The Care Plus water filter can be used on its own via a straw (included), in-line with your hydration system, screwed on to a water bottle or water bladder.
Instructions for use: When filling your bottle from a water source please ensure there is as little debris or particulate matter within it as possible as this will affect the effectiveness of your filter. Straining the water through a piece of fine woven cloth first helps to remove the vast majority of matter.
Please Note: This is the old version pop-up spout. This filter will not work with sea water. Hand wash only.
