When I discovered the 3-hole balaclava, I asked SubZero if they might be willing to make a two-eyehole version for me. They confirmed they could, so I immediately ordered a pack of 5!
There's so many things to like about these balaclavas - nicely shaped, they fit closely and comfortably, almost like a second skin. The neck is properly long, so it stays in place and doesn't pull out of the collar when I turn my head. Eyeholes are perfect; small enough to not expose any facial skin - even my eyebrows are protected.
The fabric is soft against my skin, breathable and easy to breathe through - I have worn two of them as a double layer without discomfort and they fit well both under my jockey helmet when out on my horse, and also under a full-face helmet. They really do keep my head, face and neck warm.
Best of all, these balaclavas combine perfectly with my SubZero Factor 2 onesie, long thermal undergloves and long socks to form a seamless underlayer for all-day (and overnight) warmth.
Highly recommended; you'll struggle to find a better ready-made balaclava. In fact I think I'd better order another pack of them.
