SIZING GUIDE
There are no standard sizes for clothing, which is why each brand has their own unique cut and fit. Please do not presume you are the same size between brands for a similar product. If you have a synthetic insulated jacket that fits correctly, then use it as a template for these measurements.
HOW TO MEASURE
Chest - Measure the full circumference of your chest just below the armpits
Back Length - Measure from the back of your neck to the hem
Sleeve Length - Measure from the centre of the back of the neck, across the shoulder to the sleeve end.
Synthetic Insulated Jackets Fit
These jackets have been designed with a generous but not voluminous fit, allowing the use of base layers and mid layers underneath. Please be aware that these measurements are taken from the garments unstretched, apart from the 'TO FIT CHEST' column, that indicates the range of fit.
The table below shows the garment measurements for Snugpaks synthetic insulated jackets. There is a tolerance of +/- 10mm.

Washing instructions for Snugpaks Jackets are printed on a white silk tag stitched to the inside seam. Please follow these instructions carefully as failure to comply with them will make your guarantee void. If you have removed the tag or are unsure of the washing symbol meaning, the full washing instructions can be found below.
- Machine wash on a gentle setting or hand wash in water not exceeding 30°C or 86°F
- You can use a mild washing detergent but ideally you want to use an outer jacket specific washing treatment
- Wash dark colours separately, do not bleach, do not use fabric conditioners
- These jackets can be spun dry in a washing machine
- Do not tumble dry. Dry them instead on a line or airer.
- Do not dry clean
GENERAL WASHING TIPS
Repeated washing can damage the insulation structure and thus the thermal efficiency of your jacket. It is recommended that light soiling on both the inner and outer fabrics is sponged with soap and water to start with, machine/hand washing as a last resort.
Ensure the zip is done up fully otherwise the exposed teeth may cause harm in the wash cycle. The same can be said for garments containing Velcro. Your best course of action would be to wash these garments either by hand or on their own in a washing machine.
Do not store these jackets compressed in stuff sacks for long periods of time between uses. Store them either by hanging them up on a peg using the back neck hanging tab or laying them flat and loosely folding them in a wardrobe.
A Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish is applied to the outer fabric of these jackets. The water repellence can be maintained with periodic re-treatment with a suitable aftercare DWR product - whether applied during the wash cycle or during hand washing.
Like most synthetics, Snugpak fabrics will melt or burn if exposed to flame or direct heat. They are not flame resistant; do not use them near ANY direct source of heat or flame.

Snugpak Sleeka Elite Reversible Insulated Jackets are ideal for keeping you warm during daylight and night operations.
Both sides to the jacket are manufactured from the nylon version of Paratex Light, a lightweight but tough fabric that is highly breathable (12l/m²/24h) and windproof (3ft³/min), with a durable water repellent finish (DWR)*. The use of Snugpaks Softie® polyester fill provides all the insulation benefits of down, but retains body heat when wet, as well as having greater loft recovery after compaction i.e. when stored in its stuff sack for long lengths of time.
When worn as the main black jacket, the stress points of the outer sleeves and shoulders are reinforced with a lightweight fine knit polyester webbing. A wide wind baffle behind the zip prevents excess wind penetration, whilst two insulated zipped pockets keep hands warm as well as valuables safe.
The fit is generous but not voluminous, allowing base layers and mid layers to be worn underneath. Two one-handed hip hem drawstrings allow you to tailor the jackets fit around your waist, with the same system on the reverse of the collar to give greater neck protection. Soft elasticated cuffs mould to your wrists to help prevent snow and wind penetration.
When worn in reverse, the olive colour becomes dominant, making these jackets useful for both night time exercises and daytime camouflage. On the left hand side there is a deep zipped chest pocket, with two insulated zipped hand warmer pockets. The wind baffle is now located in front of the zip, and the drawstrings have to be accessed from the inside of the jacket.
When not in use, these jackets can be packed away in their own compact stuff sack (included).
* Although the fabric faces have a waterproof finish (DWR), the stitching and zips are not sealed, so water will eventually permeate through these areas.
