Lifesystems Ferrocerium Fire Starter Flint

Lifesystems Ferrocerium Fire Starter Flint generates an extremely high temperature spark at 2980ºC in all weather conditions and no matter what the altitude.

The bulbous bright orange handle on the rod and the large steel striker allows for ease of use when wearing gloves, whilst the lanyard connecting the two enables you to securely wear it around your neck or attach it to your gear.

To spark the Ferrocerium rod, scrape it at a 45º angle with the steel striker applying reasonable pressure. This action can be completed up to 3500 times before replacing.

If you are using the sparks to light a stove, please do not stand over it when striking the flint.
