Factor 2 is a
unique thermal mid-layer. Specially developed for exclusive
use by Sub Zero, we manufacture our Factor 2 fabric with
a hard wearing outer surface and a super-soft, brushed fleece-like
inner surface.
Factor 2 garments can be worn on their own,
or on top of a Factor 1 base layer in colder conditions.

The fabric transports perspiration away from the skin or
the Factor 1 base layer and flashes it across its outer surface
to disperse. The inner fleecy surface traps warm air to insulate
the body keeping you at a dry, even temperature.
Factor 2 also has superior wind resistance and has proven
itself time and time again to outperform mainstream polyester
based garments in the severest conditions. |

Factor
1 and 2 clothing was chosed by the Global Teamwork crew
during the BT Blobal Challenge Round the World yacht
race, the 'toughest race in the world'. 14 identical
steel yachts race 30,000 miles round
the globe.
They rely on Sub Zero's technical
clothing to keep them warm and dry in the most extreme
conditions, from baking heat to the iceberg strewn
southern ocean.
